Prawn & Baby Spinach Pizza

Prawn & Baby Spinach Pizza

Thanks to my friend Ross Cochrane in Sunny Queensland



Bazaar Pizza Base from Coles or Woolworths.
Lego’s Pizza Sauce in a upside down plastic bottle.
Fresh Baby Spinach leaves
Hoyt’s Mixed Herbs. [Australian Family owned!]
Fresh green Prawns and or thinly sliced Calamari. [Australian !]
*[Do not be skimpy on amount. Remember it is for you enjoyment, and Not for Sale]
Pizza Cheese. Quality Cheese!
Frozen Peas and Corn. (Fresh if you like)
Fresh Lemon. Cut into thin slices, and remove seeds.



  1. Thoroughly thaw out all frozen ingredients. Also pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Lightly spray Pizza tray with Canola Oil.
  3. Spread Pizza Sauce over all of Pizza base, to the edge, not somewhere near the edge.
  4. Spread all of the Pizza Base  with Spinach Leaves, to the edge.
  5. A light sprinkle of Pizza Cheese.
  6. A light sprinkle of Mixed Herbs. [to your taste]
  7. Add fresh Pawns, deveined and cut length ways. Skin side facing up for colour and presentation. To the edge of the Pizza.
  8. Add fresh Calamari. [as per Prawns]
  9. Lightly add Peas and Corn. [Surprisingly adds flavour and presentation colour.]
  10. Lightly sprinkle Mixed Herbs again.
  11. Lightly sprinkle Pizza Cheese again.


Lightly sprinkle squeezed lemon.
Not much, just lightly. Try lemon juice on any Pizza, you will be surprised!!!!!!!!!


The same above, applies to Vegetarian, Meat, & Mediterranean Pizza’s. [Any Toppings, you find in the refrigerator. Do not hesitate to experiment]
Put all ingredients to the edge of the Pizza. Do not be skimpy with ingredients.
Add colourful ingredients for colour presentation at the top of the Pizza.
*Always sprinkle a little bit of Lemon.


I can assure you Ross’s Pizzas taste great! I’ve had the pleasure of sharing them with him on the Sunshine Coast.
