Have a movie marathon with family, friends or the entire neighbourhood! Charge admission, sell popcorn and raise much-needed funds for White Ribbon.
Your night will help raise funds for White Ribbon’s vital prevention work. Sadly, many women and their children are not safe in their own home. Domestic and family violence is the principal cause of homelessness for women and their children. And one in four children are exposed to domestic violence. This must stop now.
Register your night and together let’s build a future free from violence and abuse. Once you have registered you will receive an Essentials Kit with free downloadable invitation, poster and ticket templates along with fundraising ideas.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible so please ask your guests to give generously.
All forms of violence are unacceptable.
The most pervasive form of violence in our communities is violence against women. On average one woman is killed every week as a result of intimate partner violence.
We need to be doing more to address this issue, it’s everyone’s responsibility to stand up and say “Violence Against Women or Men is Unacceptable”. We need to change things. Now.

Schools, clubs, sportspeople, organisations and employers play a vital role in acknowledging and overcoming negative behaviours and attitudes to issues affecting the community.
Violence against women (and men) is everyone’s issue. It’s a systemic problem that reaches all corners of our community, including our employees and customers too.
But the good news is we can all do something to show our support to end violence against women –starting with White Ribbon Night next Friday to help raise funds for White Ribbon’s vital prevention work.

- Donate to the White Ribbon Campaign– help White Ribbon reach their target of $500,000 this year

Telstra has partnered with the Women’s Services Network (WESNET), Australia’s peak body for domestic and family violence services, to help women impacted by domestic violence to stay safely connected. Telstra provides smartphones, pre-paid credit and information on the safe use of technology to WESNET who will distribute them to partner agencies across the country that work directly with clients impacted by domestic violence.
